Partner Campuses

Located in beautiful downtown Portland, both Oregon MPH partner campuses are located in the state’s urban center and in unique proximity to numerous public, private, and not-for-profit public health agencies and organizations.  As a program with a strong service-learning tradition, our students and faculty regularly work with and are inspired by the excellent and innovative work of our community partners.  This community-engaged focus is a major strength of the Oregon MPH Program.

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a world-class health science center providing training in a range of health professions.  OHSU is the OMPH Program’s primary host of the Biostatistics, Environmental Systems and Human Health, Epidemiology, and Primary Health Care and Health Disparities tracks, and is a primary sponsor of the MD/MPH (Epidemiology).  OHSU also hosts the Graduate Certificate in Public Health.

Portland State University (PSU), Oregon's largest comprehensive university, spans a 49-acre downtown campus.  PSU's motto, "Let Knowledge Serve the City," reflects the institution's commitment to actively engage with communities in learning and practice.  PSU is the primary host of the Health Promotion and Health Management and Policy tracks, and primary sponsor of the MSW/MPH (Health Promotion or Health Management and Policy) and MURP/MPH (Health Promotion).
